Fleet Manager – Rail Maintenance OperationsPermanent Full-Time | $160,000 + Super + Fully Maintained Vehicle & Fuel CardInitial Location: Nowergup | Relocating to Bellevue in Early ****CrewSELECT is proud to partner with one of Western Australia's leading passenger rail maintenance providers to recruit an experienced Fleet Manager.
This is a rare opportunity to lead critical rollingstock maintenance operations, ensuring fleet reliability, safety and operational performance across one of WA's largest rail networks.
The role will initially be based at Nowergup before transitioning to the client's new Bellevue facility in early ****.Working closely with the General Manager and operational leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading maintenance teams, driving fleet availability, overseeing contract performance and fostering a high-performing safety culture.What's on Offer?
Base salary of $160,000 + SuperFully maintained company vehicle and fuel cardPermanent full time opportunityOn-call responsibilities as part of the leadership teamOpportunity to play a key role in the transition to the new Bellevue maintenance facilityLong-term career stability with a respected rail organisationLeadership position with genuine influence across maintenance operations and continuous improvement initiativesAbout the RoleReporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of rollingstock maintenance operations, ensuring fleet reliability, contract compliance and operational excellence.Your responsibilities will include:Leading maintenance operations to maximise fleet availability and reliabilityManaging scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activitiesDriving safety,



quality and continuous improvement initiativesLeading and developing supervisors, maintenance personnel and support teamsCoordinating maintenance, engineering, planning and operational resourcesMonitoring KPIs, budgets and contract performanceManaging reporting, stakeholder engagement and customer relationshipsSupporting mobilisation and operational transition to the Bellevue facilityEnsuring compliance with Rail Safety legislation, maintenance standards and contractual obligationsAbout YouTo be successful, you'll bring:Previous leadership experience within rail, transport, heavy industry, maintenance or asset managementStrong people leadership and team development skillsExperience managing maintenance operations and operational performanceExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong planning, organisational and problem-solving abilitiesExperience managing KPIs, reporting and continuous improvement initiativesIntermediate Microsoft Office skills and experience using maintenance or asset management systemsUnderstanding of Rail Safety legislation (highly regarded)Current C Class Driver's LicenceWhy Apply?
