Location: Papua Current GuineaPosition SummaryLead and manage site-wide Health, Safety, and Emergency Management systems, ensuring compliance with PNG regulations, industry best practices, and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive a proactive, zero-harm safety culture.Maintain and improve the HSE Management System (HSEMS).
Lead risk assessments, hazard management, and critical control verification.Oversee safety across underground mining, processing, logistics, maintenance, and construction activities.Manage incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory reporting.Ensure emergency preparedness and response readiness.Lead safety training, competency, and contractor compliance programs.Conduct audits, inspections, and safety performance reporting.Must-Have RequirementsDegree/Diploma in OHS, Mining Engineering, or related field.10+ years' mining safety experience, including underground operations.Strong knowledge of PNG mining and safety regulations.Proven leadership, risk management, and incident investigation experience.Experience in remote, high-risk mining environments.
