Note: Travel Experience Required.JOB SUMMARYThe Registered Nurse - Telemetry provides continuous cardiac monitoring and specialized care to patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
This role involves interpreting telemetry data, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure protected and effective patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipmentAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedPerform patient assessments and document clinical findingsRespond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventionsCollaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plansEducate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recoveryMaintain accurate and timely documentationAdhere to infection control and safety protocolsParticipate in emergency response and resuscitation effortsSupport quality improvement and professional development initiativesRequired QualificationsMust have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years.Graduate of an accredited nursing programRegistered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationBasic Arrhythmia course requiredPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in nursing or related fieldCertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) certificationAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
