Join SP Data Centres on one of Australia's leading data centre construction projects.SP Data Centres is seeking an experienced WHS Consultant to support the delivery of a major hyperscale data centre project in the Eastern Creek precinct.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside leading construction contractors on a rapid-paced, high-profile project.Operating as an independent consultant via your own ABN, you will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, supporting project teams, and ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with legislative and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day WHS support across the construction project.Conduct site inspections, audits and workplace observations.Identify hazards and implement practical risk control measures.Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.Review SWMS, risk assessments and permit systems.Monitor contractor compliance with WHS legislation and project requirements.Support toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and safety communications.Coach and mentor supervisors and subcontractors on WHS best practice.Maintain accurate safety documentation and reporting.Foster a proactive,
