Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, you'll carry out repairs and maintenance, planned and unplanned, on mechanical equipment in the Process Plant, Bore fields, Site Infrastructure and Village at our Leonora operations, on an 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.ResponsibilitiesEnsure plant and equipment is maintained at a high level of availability.Close liaison with Supply personnel on mechanical purchasing and inventory matters.Close liaison and cooperation with the Maintenance and Processing Shift Supervisors to ensure optimum equipment performance and availabilityWhen supervision is unavailable, complete new tasks according to the Maintenance Priority SystemProvide guidance to any Maintenance Contractors who may be working in the plant or other infrastructureMaintenance of Mechanical Workshop facilities and equipment in good working orderAchieve Maintenance cost targetsAbout youYou are a motivated and technically capable professional with a passion for Mechanical Fitting.
You thrive in agile mining environments, enjoy troubleshooting complex issues, and take a proactive, safety-first approach to your work.
You will also have:Mechanical Trade Qualification - FitterDriver's License (C Class, Manual Car), minimum HR (Manual)
