We're committed to building inclusive, supportive environments where employees thrive and our organisation succeeds.About the roleWe're seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team in Albury, NSW on a part time basis.
This role is central to our employee and industrial relations functions, with particular responsibility for managing formal disciplinary processes and SCHADS Award compliance across a diverse workforce.
You'll work closely with management to conduct formal meetings, navigate employee matters, ensure legislative compliance, and support a positive, high-performing workplace culture.Key responsibilitiesManage day-to-day HR operations, including employee records, leave administration, and payroll liaisonProvide expert advice on SCHADS Award interpretation, including classifications, allowances, and entitlementsAdvise management on industrial relations matters, employment law compliance, and workplace policy implementationHandle employee relations matters, including grievances, disputes, and complaints, from initial investigation through to formal resolutionPrepare formal documentation such as investigation findings letters, outcome letters,



and performance improvement plansMaintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, awards, and workplace relations requirementsAssist with developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and training programsCoordinate employee engagement initiatives and support workplace culture developmentMaintain accurate, confidential HR documentation and records management systemsLiaise with external bodies such as the Fair Work Commission and Fair Work Ombudsman as requiredWhat we're looking forBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field (essential)Demonstrated experience applying the SCHADS Award in a community services or disability support setting (essential)Proven experience conducting formal disciplinary meetings, investigations, and grievance processes, with sound knowledge of procedural fairness requirementsSound understanding of Australian employment law, the Fair Work Act, and relevant awards and agreementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the discretion and professionalism to handle sensitive employee relations mattersStrong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacityCommitment to confidentiality, data protection, and inclusive workplace practicesWhat we offerCompetitive remuneration reflecting your experience and qualificationspro-rata leave entitlementsprofessional development opportunitiesaccess to an Employee Assistance Program.We value work-life balance and offer flexibility tailored to your circumstances.
