Join our team and be part of our continued success.About the roleWe have exciting permanent opportunities for experienced, hands-on Assistant Production Managers to join our team at our Riverwood site in South-West Sydney, working either morning or afternoon shifts.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of food processing operatives, ensuring production runs according to the planned schedule while consistently meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).

We have exciting permanent opportunities for experienced 'hands-on' (production floor) Assistant Production Managers to work on our morning or afternoon shifts at our Riverwood site, South-West Sydney.Reporting to the Production Manager the roles will each manage a team of food process operatives ensuring production runs to planned schedule and KPI's are met.




The roles offer a unique chance to broaden your skill set and make a lasting impact on our organization.What you'll doDaily supervision and direction of a small production team under the guidance of the Production ManagerBe responsible for the daily team support and review of staff performanceCoordinate on the job staff training and assessmentOversee and ensure adherence to standards in quality, safety and efficiencies across the assigned production lines to meet shift requirementsEnsure team compliance to health and safety standards and reporting of all near misses and hazardsMaintain food safety/production records ensuring their accurate completionEnsure organization of the work area and GMP standardsOversee production lines supply of raw materials/componentsConduct physical inventory checks for stock verificationsTrouble shoot production issuesand escalation equipment malfunctionsContribute to minimizing food wastage in the production areaQualificationBackground in food manufacturing/preparation and/or large volume commercial kitchen facility, operating food production equipmentSound understanding of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety practicesCertificate II in Food Processing (or working towards this qualification) or equivalent(Desirable)Excellent communication and organizational skillsGood interpersonal skills to work with people from diverse backgroundsAbility to give clear instructions to team and manage team performanceAbility to inspire and motivate the team to realize their full potentialDedicated with strong work ethic and "can-do" attitudeAble to work in fast paced production environment with changing priorities
