Big4 Gold Coast Holiday Park & Motel is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time basis in Helensvale, Queensland.
In this strategic role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our holiday park and motel, ensuring excellence in service delivery, maintaining operational efficiency, and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
You will play a crucial role in driving our business objectives, managing staff performance, and optimising our facilities to deliver outstanding hospitality standards across all operational areas.Key responsibilitiesOversee daily operations of the holiday park and motel, including guest services, facility maintenance, and staff managementManage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance to ensure profitability and cost controlRecruit, train, supervise and develop a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a positive workplace cultureEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations, and company policiesMaintain and coordinate maintenance schedules for facilities, amenities and equipment to guarantee guest satisfactionMonitor and optimise occupancy rates and revenue management strategiesHandle guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly to maintain high satisfaction ratingsImplement and maintain quality assurance standards across all operational departmentsLiaise with management on performance metrics, guest feedback and strategic operational improvementsManage vendor relationships,



procurement and inventory controlWhat we're looking for5+ years' experience in hospitality operations management, preferably within a holiday park, resort or motel environmentProven track record of managing budgets, revenue and profitability in a hospitality settingStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staffKnowledge of hospitality systems and property management softwareDemonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challengesStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyUnderstanding of health, safety and environmental compliance requirements in the hospitality industryCustomer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiencesRelevant hospitality qualifications or certifications (preferred)What we offerBig4 Gold Coast Holiday Park & Motel is committed to providing a supportive and rewarding workplace.
