About the opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for a Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) professional to join a major mining project in South West WA.Working across tailings facility raise projects and other projects across the site's various dams, you will support construction quality assurance across a range of civil scopes, including earthworks and piping.
This is an excellent prospect for a Junior Civil Engineer looking to develop their CQA experience and break into the mining industry.
The contract role offers the potential for ongoing work for the right candidate.
With exposure to a broad range of construction scopes, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn from three Principal Engineers leading the project and gain experience across a major project.
You will also play an important role in construction reporting and client liaison.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing CQA support across tailings facility and dam projects Conducting proactive site inspections Reviewing test certificates and quality documentation Liaising with client and contractor teams Monitoring earthworks and piping scopes Supporting construction certification documentation Preparing construction reports Identifying and addressing quality issues What's on offer Monday to Friday, 10-hour days Major project with exposure to a broad range of construction scopes Opportunity to learn from three Principal Engineers leading the project Potential for ongoing work for the right candidate Project located approximately 2.5 hours south of Perth Accommodation and transport arrangements covered, depending on the successful candidate's location Candidates based around Bunbury or Collie, or those comfortable commuting weekly, are encouraged to apply.About you To be successful in this role, you will have:
