This is a recruitment
process for Permanent and Fixed-Term appointments for various hours
per fortnight, with the possibility of extension and/or
permanency.

Currently we are seeking suitably experienced Senior
Pharmacists (HSU Level P3) for a range of positions
across Fiona Stanley Hospital, with the following FTE in the
following specialisations:
Intensive Care 0.8 FTE;
Respiratory 1 FTE; and
General Medicine 1 FTE.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be expected to
nominate and demonstrate your suitable experience in one of the
above specialisations.
It is expected that applicants will
have at least 3 years of experience in the relevant specialty
area.
The successful applicant/s promote safe, rational, and
cost-effective drug therapy by providing specialised clinical
pharmacy services to the clinical speciality monitoring of the
patient's total medication profile, providing drug information, and
undertaking teaching and research.
Plans, implements, and evaluates
patient safety and quality of care and participates in quality
improvement initiatives within the clinical specialty.
Provides
clinical expertise and leadership in the provision of Pharmacy
Services to the clinical specialty and provides supervision,
training, education and support to pharmacy staff and other
disciplines.
Ensures practice is in accordance with the Pharmacy
Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Pharmacy Board of
Australia Codes and Guidelines including the Pharmacy Code of
Conduct for Registered Health Practitioners and SMHS policies and
guidelines.
Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is a 783-bed tertiary hospital
offering a range of health services including the State
Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre,
purpose-built mental health unit, maternity, paediatric and
neonatal services, and the State Adult Burns Service.
FSH also




delivers specialised services such as heart and lung
transplantations and hyperbaric medicine.
SMHS delivers quality, safe and effective hospital and health
services within a catchment area stretching more than **** square
kilometres across the southern half of Perth.

appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed
term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident,
or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for
permanent appointments).
