Explore working life at NCHA, our benefits, and our values to discover why.Please note we are not currently offering visa sponsorships.The RoleNo two days are exactly the same, but your role will include:Supporting young people to build independence and life skillsPrompting and reminding around medication, daily routines, college or workOffering guidance with cooking, cleaning, shopping, budgeting and paying billsEncouraging personal care while promoting dignity and choiceFollowing and contributing to clear, consistent support plansMaintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with your teamSupporting individuals with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities and EUPD (Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder)Working calmly and professionally during periods of emotional distressWhat really matters in this role is working as part of a supportive, consistent team.
You'll never be expected to manage challenges alone; teamwork, regular debriefing and reflection are essential to how the service operates, ensuring colleagues support one another and learn together.Consistency and clear boundaries are especially important, particularly when emotions run high.
You'll need to be resilient,

Weekend availability is essential.
Candidates living outside Coalville and the surrounding area should be aware that public transport links from Loughborough and Leicester do not align with shift start and finish times; you must ensure you have reliable transport to get to and from work.
Access to a car is strongly recommended.
