This role involves overseeing and enhancing the quality of science teaching and learning, guiding and implementing curriculum changes, and ensuring consistent, high-quality program delivery across the school.
This role supports teachers to deliver curriculum-aligned lessons using effective, evidence-informed teaching strategies and resources that make science relevant, accessible, and connected to real-world contexts, manages student behaviour, organises and supervises relief staff, and uses regular assessment and feedback data to monitor progress and inform student learning outcomes.
Working in partnership with teachers, students, and families, this role collaborates with colleagues to design, develop, and achieve the objectives outlined in the school's annual improvement plan.
