Job OverviewCanex has an prospect for 10 Full time Kitchenhand/Cooks to work in Rockhampton and surrounding regions, Queensland.The roles can vary and you could be tasked with:Assist chefs with basic food preparationWash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipmentMaintain cleanliness of kitchen and food prep areasDispose of rubbish and recycling appropriatelyFollow food safety and hygiene standardsAssist with receiving and storing deliveriesSupport the kitchen team during busy service periodsFor this exciting role you must have a good level of physical fitness, as you are often on your feet and active for the majority of your shift.RequirementsRequirements:Ready and able to work long shifts (11+ hours a day)Be flexible in your approach to workA great attitude with your workBe neat and tidyBe able to work alone or part of a teamPay & HoursYou will be required to work an average of 38 hours per week.
The term of work will be from June **** to June ****.You will be paid either under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (MA******), the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award (MA******),
General Retail Industry Award (MA******) or the Restaurant Industry Award (MA******)The work will range in pay from an ordinary rate of Introductory, Levels 1 to Levels 3 $*****/hr up to $29+/hrWorking hours will vary from anywhere from 6am to 11pm, 7 days per week.Overtime rates will be paid where applicableUpskilling & additional allowances may also be paid if you were trained in extra tasks.Application RequirementsIn order to be considered please provide a cover letter.Applications must address the selection criteria and experience.Please state your right to work in Australia – E.g.
