Job Description
Start a trade career that connects people, businesses and some of the most advanced technology environments in Australia. Alliance SI is recruiting Telecommunications Apprentices who are curious, practical and ready to learn. You will work alongside experienced technicians, leading hands and supervisors while completing a three-year Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology (Physical Telecommunications)., * Network infrastructure: Install structured cabling, pathways, racks and data hall systems; read and interpret construction drawings and network plans.
* Fibre and copper: Terminate and test copper; install, splice and test fibre; work with high-density systems including MPO/MTP and patching environments.
* Testing and compliance: Use industry equipment such as Fluke, OTDR and EXFO testers; produce reports and work to applicable standards and client requirements.
* Data centre delivery: Work safely in clean, high-security and mission-critical environments where quality, documentation and attention to detail matter.
* Professional capability: Build communication, teamwork, planning and problem-solving skills while learning from experienced industry professionals.
What your apprenticeship may involve
* Installing containment, cable pathways, racks and structured cabling systems.
* Pulling, terminating, labelling and testing fibre and copper cabling.
* Working in data halls, communications rooms and enterprise network environments.
* Supporting testing, commissioning, quality checks and project handover.
* Completing workplace training, classroom learning and apprenticeship assessments.




* Following safety procedures, site rules, security requirements and Alliance SI standards., * Leading Hand - Lead tasks, mentor others and support project delivery.
* Supervisor - Manage teams, coordinate projects and drive successful outcomes.
* Specialist / Project Manager - Advance into technical specialist or project leadership roles.

About the Candidate




* Paid Development: Gain recognised qualifications through a combination of hands-on work and formal training., You do not need data centre experience. We are looking for people with the right attitude, genuine interest and commitment to completing the apprenticeship.
* A genuine interest in technology, telecommunications, networks or hands-on technical work
* A practical mindset and willingness to learn new skills
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
* Reliable, punctual and comfortable working as part of a team
* Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
* Commitment to workplace safety, procedures and professional conduct
* Ability to obtain a White Card and successfully complete required background checks
* Driver's licence or reliable transport is highly regarded
