The Role:
As a Graduate Accountant, you will gain hands-on exposure to diverse client portfolios from day one. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements and tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships,Trusts, Companies and Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
Assisting with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
Forecasting of future tax payments and forward tax planning.
Conducting tax research and assisting with client advisory projects.
Liaising with the ATO and state revenue offices on behalf of clients.
ASIC and ATO compliance work.
What We Are Looking For:
A recent graduate (or final-year student) with a Bachelor of Commerce/Business (Majoring in Accounting).
Eligibility and desire to commence CA or CPA studies (highly regarded).
Robust communication skills to confidently interact with WA business clients.
Compassion and empathy with clients to assist them in their financial goals.
High attention to detail and a keen interest in Australian tax and superannuation law.
