We are seeking a Full-Time Lead Veterinarian to join our team at Burpengary Vet.
This role offers a flexible roster with a mix of consulting and surgical caseload to suit your interests and strengths.Burpengary Vet is a brand-new, purpose-built clinic with a supportive and friendly team environment.
On a daily basis, you'll work alongside 5–6 veterinarians and 8 dedicated support staff, including an experienced nursing team and a dedicated reception team.Our caseload is wide and varied, providing excellent opportunities to grow your skills in both medicine and surgery.
We actively encourage the development of special interests and are passionate about supporting continued learning and professional growth.Lead Veterinarian – Full TimeWhat You'll Be Doing Day to DayAs a Small Animal Veterinarian with us, no two days are the same.
Your role will include:Managing a varied caseload across both medicine and surgeryMentoring, training, and supporting the GP veterinary teamUndertaking line management responsibilities, including performance management and professional developmentSupporting the training and development of nursing and support teamsShaping and upholding best-practice standards in line with VetPartners advisory guidelinesDriving clinical vision while aligning clinical priorities with business objectivesUtilising advanced diagnostics, including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory equipmentDelivering preventative healthcare such as vaccinations, parasite control,
