Fifo Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing Contract

We are seeking a "Jack of all trades" Registered Nurse for a travel nursing contract in Queenstown, Tasmania.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced clinician who enjoys working across emergency response, sub-acute care, and aged care support within a close-knit rural health setting.
The Role
The successful applicant will work as part of the WCDH team, providing high-quality nursing care across a diverse range of presentations.
You will be expected to work autonomously, take charge, and provide clinical leadership across the facility.
The role includes:
Working within our3-bed First Response Unit, managing approximately180 presentations per month
Providing care within our9-bed Sub Acute Unit, where the majority of your clinical duties will be based
Supporting and providing guidance to Registered Nurses and staff within our16-bed Residential Aged Care Unit
Taking onshift-in-charge responsibilities
Participating in a rotatingon-call roster
Essential Requirements
We are looking for a confident and capable rural nurse with:
Current Registered Nurse registration
Proven rural and/or acute care nursing experience
ALS competency




Triage competency
Resuscitation competency and experience
Working with vulnerable people check
Police Check
Ability to work independently and confidently in a leadership capacity
A flexible "can-do" attitude and willingness to support across multiple areas of the facility
