About our Apprenticeship Program
Join us as an Apprentice in January ****!
Our Apprentice Substation Electricians work in teams and carry out duties associated with the maintenance, installation, augmentation and fault finding and fixing of all electrical plant and equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, and HV switch gear and LV switchboards.
Our Apprentices must be willing to work outdoors, at heights and in all weather conditions.
Our four-year program sees our Apprentices:

Earn a nationally recognised TAFE certification.

Certificate III – Electrotechnology Electrician (A Grade Licence).
Program eligibility
At least one of the following pre-requisites:
Units 1 & 2 General Maths (Year 11 equivalent); or
VCAL or VCE Vocational Major; or
Currently completing (or completed) a pre-apprenticeship TAFE training course in Electrotechnology (Cert II)*.
If you are currently completing a pre-requisite subject, you are eligible to apply, as long as it will be successfully completed by the end of the **** academic year.
