Kyvalley Dairy is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team at our Kyabram facility in Victoria.
This is a full-time position offering a challenging opportunity to maintain and repair critical equipment and machinery across our dairy operations.
As a Maintenance Fitter, you will play an essential role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment, directly supporting our operational targets and business continuity.What you'll be doingPerforming preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery, equipment and systemsIdentifying, diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults and equipment failuresConducting routine inspections, servicing and repairs to ensure equipment operates safely and efficientlyReading and interpreting technical drawings, maintenance manuals and equipment specificationsAssisting with the installation and commissioning of recent equipmentMaintaining accurate maintenance records and documentationSupporting continuous improvement initiatives to minimise downtime and enhance operational efficiencyWorking collaboratively with operational teams to prioritise maintenance activitiesAdhering to all safety protocols and contributing to a safe working environmentWhat we're looking forA relevant trade qualification in fitting, machining, mechanical engineering or a related disciplineAbility to work a 12 hour,



4 on 4 off day and night shift rotating roster.Proven experience working as a fitter or in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing or food production environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsProficiency in using hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instrumentsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsSound understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systemsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesCurrent or the ability to obtain relevant safety certifications as required for the roleWhat we offerKyvalley Dairy is committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional development of our team members.
