About the roleWe are seeking a Disability Support Worker to join our team at Hability in Newcastle, NSW.
This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work hours that suit your lifestyle.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personalised care and support to individuals with a range of intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, with a focus on capacity building.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and social engagementImplementing therapeutic programs and activities tailored to each client's needs and goalsProviding emotional support and helping clients develop independent living skillsDocumenting client progress and maintaining accurate recordsCollaborating with the wider care team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approachAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirementsWhat we're looking forA relevant qualification in Disability, Community Services, or a related fieldExperience working with individuals with a range of disabilities,
