Job no: ******Work type: PermanentLocation: South BrisbaneCategories: Registered Nurse/MidwifeAbout the roleMater Private Hospital Brisbane Emergency Care Centre (MECC) is seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to join the team in a permanent part-time basis 32 hours per week.The Emergency Care Centre provides a 24-hour comprehensive emergency service for adult patients and is staffed by experienced emergency doctors, nurses, training registrars and house officers.
The department delivers care for a full range of acute illnesses and injuries including Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Orthopaedic and Gynaecological emergencies.
The success of the unit is driven by a strong culture of teamwork, collaboration and clinical excellence.We are seeking dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurses who thrive in a rapid-paced emergency environment and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.Key responsibilities include:Achieving optimal patient outcomes across the patient journey and continuum of careDemonstrating strong clinical expertise in the assessment, management and treatment of emergency presentationsImplementing quality and risk management strategies within daily practiceWorking collaboratively with the multidisciplinary emergency team to deliver high-quality careMaintaining current knowledge and skills to support ongoing professional developmentAbout youTo be successful in your application, you will have:A minimum of 12 months documented post-graduate experience working in an Emergency Department settingCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseDemonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary teamStrong communication, clinical judgement and time management skillsFlexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights and weekendsMater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit healthcare provider,
