Office Administrator / Accounts - Part-Time to Full-Time OpportunityThis role offers potential for growth over time and is ideal for someone who enjoys a balance of administration and accounts work.
It will initially commence at 3 days per week, with the opportunity to expand to 5 days, as responsibilities naturally grow within the business and one of our long-standing team members gradually transitions into retirement.You'll be the first point of contact for our businesses (Bendigo Innovative Kitchens and ADMARCO), making this a key position within the team.
Your professionalism, warmth and positive communication style will help shape the first impression of our brand for clients, suppliers, and visitors.Alongside this, you'll play an important role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly; supporting both the office and workshop and taking ownership of some bookkeeping tasks using Xero.This position suits someone who takes pride in being organised, reliable, proactive, and who enjoys contributing across multiple areas of the business.We're searching for a person who brings positive energy to the team and contributes to our supportive and vibrant workplace culture.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnswering phones and welcoming clients and suppliersGeneral administration, filing and maintaining organised systemsAssisting with quotes, orders,
and job documentationLiaising with the workshop team to support job flow and communicationManaging accounts payable and receivableProcessing invoices and payments using XeroBank reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasksSupporting the smooth day-to-day running of the office Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in an administration or office support roleConfident communication skills and a skilled mannerExperience using Xero (or similar accounting software)Strong attention to detail and organisation skillsAbility to multitask and prioritise in a busy environmentDemonstrated bookkeeping or accounts experience (highly advantageous) About YouFriendly and positive with strong communication skillsReliable, organised and uses initiativeA genuine team player who enjoys supporting othersConfident working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities Who Are We?
