The Position
We are seeking an eager Graduate Project Consultant to support Vescient in delivering high-quality consulting, project management and business improvement outcomes for our clients.
The role will be varied, with the potential to grow as we grow.
As a Graduate Project Consultant, you will work with experienced consultants to support client engagements, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and the development of practical solutions.
The role will entail:
Supporting project planning, coordination, reporting and administration across client and internal projects,
Assisting with the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, action registers,
risk and issue logs, meeting packs and status reports,
Contributing to business analysis activities, including process mapping, requirements gathering, research and options analysis,
Supporting stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, interviews, meeting coordination and follow-up actions,
Assisting consultants to develop clear, professional deliverables such as briefings, presentations, reports and client-ready documents,
Providing support for project governance, assurance, benefits, change management and implementation activities,
Helping identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems and support better project outcomes for clients,
Supporting business development through research, proposal preparation and tender responses, and
Undertaking ad hoc consulting, project and administrative support as required.

Essential:
A hunger for learning and growth, and a desire to pursue a professional career in project consulting, project management or business transformation,
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear documents, presentations and meeting notes,
Good analytical and problem-solving skills,
with an interest in understanding how organisations work and how projects create value,
The ability to take ownership of your work and self-manage your time, tasks and priorities,
Strong attention to detail and confidence working with information, data, documents and competing deadlines,
Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders from varying backgrounds and industries,
A Bachelor's Degree in project management, business, commerce, information systems, management, supply chain, logistics, organisational change or another relevant discipline, and
Australian citizenship and be willing to hold a defence security clearance.
Desirable:
Skills or experience in data analytics, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends and support evidence-based decision making,
Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting and dashboard tools, with an interest in turning information into clear, practical insights for clients and project teams,
An interest in supply chain management and logistics management, including how organisations plan, source, move, store and deliver goods, services and information,
An understanding of project or business risk management concepts, including the ability to support the identification, assessment, documentation and monitoring of risks and issues, and
