Position:Parts Manager

Position Purpose
The Parts Manager is responsible for the effective operation of the Parts Department, ensuring genuine parts are available to support the Service Department and retail customers while achieving departmental sales, profitability and customer service objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and oversee ordering and stock control.
Provide timely and accurate parts support to the Service Department.
Deliver excellent customer service to retail and trade customers.
Monitor departmental sales, gross profit and inventory performance.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturer representatives.
Ensure compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer satisfaction and profitability.
Skills and Experience
Experience in an automotive Parts Department, with leadership experience preferred.
Pentana software experience would be beneficial




Strong knowledge of automotive parts and inventory management.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Sound organisational and problem-solving skills.
Current Australian Driver Licence.

Remuneration
Above-award wages paid, commission on achieving targets, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
