SAL Consulting is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our senior practitioner team in Victoria, based in Ringwood.
This is more than a clinical role.
Alongside a diverse and rewarding caseload,you'llcontribute to the growth of our Speech Pathology discipline, mentor emerging clinicians, and help strengthen our national practice.
From communication and language interventions to complex disability, autism, dysphagia, trauma-informed practice, early intervention and forensic work, Speech Pathologists at SAL have opportunities to work across an unusually broad range of practice areas while being supported to develop their own areas of interest.

You'llcombine direct clinical work with mentoring and discipline development activities.
Your work will include:
Delivering high-qualitySpeech Pathologyservices across community, clinic,schooland telehealth settings
Providing assessment,interventionand consultation services to people with diverse and often complex needs
Supporting individuals, families,carersand support teams to achieve meaningful outcomes
Mentoring and coaching developing practitioners

Mandatory Requirements
Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status through Speech Pathology Australia
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement
Minimum 5 years' experience asa Speech Pathologist
Experience working within at least one relevant funding environment (e.g. NDIS, education, child protection, health,justiceor related sectors)
Experience coaching,mentoringor supporting developing practitioners
Highly Regarded
Experience in working with people with intellectual disability, traumahistoriesand complex support needs
Experience conducting communication assessments, interventionplanningand service delivery across the lifespan
Experience in dysphagia and mealtime management
Experience working collaboratively with families, supportnetworksand multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes in everyday environments
