Neurological Physiotherapist - New Graduate
We have an exciting opportunity for a new graduate to join our industry-leading rotational program, with the role commencing in ****.

At Neurological Rehabilitation Group (NRG), we are an energetic and versatile team of physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, allied health assistants and administrative staff working together to deliver outstanding services in an environment where patients and families feel welcome, safe and in expert hands.
We are looking for new graduates with a passion for neurological physiotherapy who will take advantage of this opportunity to learn and grow as a new graduate in the field.
Our structured two-year program includes frequent supervision and mentoring with senior physiotherapists, a comprehensive education program, special interest rotations and access to internal and external professional development.
What we do
We provide individualised, person-centred care to a range of neurological and vestibular clients and are leaders in the field of concussion management, which falls within our thriving vestibular service.
Our primary location is in Mount Waverley, and we operate out of purpose-built rooms in both our Mount Waverley and Ivanhoe locations as well as consulting out of rooms in St Kilda.
We treat in a large open gym where there is a feeling of community among staff and clients, and we take pride in assisting our clients to achieve their goals and reach their functional potential.
We offer a range of services and there is the opportunity for clinicians to upskill in these areas if interested
Specialty clinics: complex posture and seating, orthotics and spasticity management
Serial and functional casting
Hands on treatment and access to Bobath trained therapists
Group exercise classes including disease specific classes (Ataxia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson's Disease) and general classes (Balance, Fitness, Running and Pilates)
Vestibular and concussion service
Parkinson's Disease specific management
Neurological Pilates
Hydrotherapy

Supportive new graduate program:weekly supervision, weekly education sessions run by clinical lead and senior physiotherapists, regular joint treatment sessions with your patients, fortnightly case study discussions and three-month rotations in specialty areas of neurological physiotherapy (currently spasticity, orthotics, vestibular, Parkinson's Disease and complex posture and seating management)
Supervision structure:We have a tiered approach to support, with clinical lead, deputy lead, and senior physiotherapists available to provide mentoring and guidance, both personally and professionally.
This includes annual reviews and objective setting, internal upskilling programs and double treatment sessions with our skilled clinical leadership team
Development opportunities:Comprehensive internal in-service program, generous financial support and study leave for professional development and conferences
Career progression:Following the two-year new graduate program you will have the opportunity to join our physiotherapy team who participate in student teaching, lecturing and tutoring at universities, research, including an in-house research scholarship, non-clinical practice development and project roles
