Join a state government client's team in a pivotal finance leadership role within a collaborative and high-performing Corporate and Strategic Services team.

About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director, Corporate and Strategic Services, the Manager, Finance, Procurement & Facilities will lead financial management, procurement, contract management and facilities functions.
As the most senior finance person in the team, you will provide strategic advice, strengthen governance frameworks, drive compliance, and support executive decision-making through accurate financial oversight and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Lead finance, procurement and facilities operations.
Drive financial governance and compliance frameworks.
Provide strategic financial and procurement advice.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities.
Strengthen internal controls and risk management.
Manage procurement and contract performance outcomes.




Identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Support policy development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Build solid stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
Lead and mentor specialist finance and operational staff.
Improve Financial Delegations and the Financial Management Practice Manual (FMPM)
Skills & Experience Required
Demonstrated senior experience in finance, procurement or corporate services leadership.
Strong knowledge of financial management, governance and compliance frameworks.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic advice.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
Advanced financial systems and reporting capability.
Relevant qualifications in Commerce, Business, Accounting or related disciplines highly regarded.
CPA, CA or equivalent professional membership highly desirable.
Previous State Governemtn experience, highly desireable.
