We're looking for a positive, flexible and proactive early-career communicator to join their supportive, kind and optimistic team.

$75k + super

About this opportunity
This is a unique prospect to join a welcoming, collaborative, high-performing team in a newly-created role.
You'll work alongside experienced, passionate non-profit leaders at the heart of the work which engages, inspires and delights existing and future supporters.
You'll draft compelling communication and reports, prepare briefing materials and support the timely delivery of critical reporting requirements and partnership commitments.
This role is key to strong, trusted relationships and making supporters feel informed, valued and confident in the impact their support provides.
Ultimately, these partnerships enable the life-changing work this organisation delivers.
Key responsibilities include:
draft high-quality donor reports in line with funding agreements and tone of voice
prepare communications and tailored content for various partners and audiences
develop briefing notes to support internal leaders and partnership engagements
coordinate and draft grant proposals and reports
conduct prospect research to identify potential new donors and opportunities
track reporting and compliance requirements to ensure obligations are met
maintain schedules and reminders for upcoming deliverables and deadlines
manage donor records, agreements and correspondence
help strengthen internal systems, templates and processes
manage donor administration and documentation
support compliance and reporting requirements.
About you
You're an authentic and organised communications professional who's equally comfortable drafting clear, high-quality content as you are tracking and coordinating deliverables across multiple schedules and stakeholders.
You have excellent attention to detail, both in long-from written communication and managing the accuracy of information across multiple platforms/systems.
You enjoy working complex information from multiple sources, synthesising it into clear, engaging written outputs.
You write accurately and thoughtfully for different audiences and purposes.
We'd love you to bring:
relevant tertiary qualifications
1-2 years' experience in a communications, content and/or support coordination role
exceptional written communication skills and experience with a range of formal communications such as reports, proposals and briefings
well-developed organisational skills including an ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliverables
experience working with a database or CRM system
exceptional attention to detail
a commitment to producing high-quality work and building strong working relationships
a proactive working style, able to work independently and as part of a team.
