About the Role
Full-time position
Monday to Friday
8:00 am – 4:00 pm
SCHADS Award Level 3.1 to 3.5
Dedicated administration time each week
Chance to lead an allocated SIL home
House Champions remain actively involved in participant support while also taking ownership of the day-to-day operations of their home.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, person-centred supports.
Lead by example and promote a positive team culture.
Mentor and support new and existing staff.
Ensure documentation and daily records are completed to a high standard.
Monitor medication documentation and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular house audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist with implementing Behaviour Support Plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
Escalate operational issues, risks and participant concerns promptly.
Work collaboratively with Care Facilitators, clinical teams and Operations.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience supporting people with disability within SIL or community settings.
Demonstrates leadership potential and takes initiative.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is confident with documentation and technology.
Understands person-centred practice, safeguarding and NDIS compliance.
Can effectively prioritise competing demands and problem solve.
Holds a current Driver Licence, NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid/CPR (or is willing to obtain).
