The Role
We'reseeking a dynamic and forward-thinking educator to join our team at the Malvern Campus on a part time basis (0.4 FTE), with flexibility across 3–4 days per weekonapermanent basiscommencingin January ****.
As an Enrichment Teacher, you willbe responsible fordeveloping and implementing a curriculum that challenges highlyable students.
This includes overseeing the rollout of the program, whichidentifies, assesses, andmonitorsstudent progress.
You will work closely with classroom teachers, the Head of Teaching and Learning, the Head of Learning Strategies, and families to support the individual learning needs of these students
Key Duties
Advocate for and practically support differentiation within the mainstream curriculum, working with all staff.
Support Teachers in differentiating the curriculum andmaking adjustmentsso that all students are fully engaged.
Plan and deliver targeted programs for identified and high potential learners.
Implement programs and interventions that are responsive, and data informed.
Conduct assessments and analyse available data toidentifystudents with exceptional abilities andmonitortheir progress over time.
Collaborate with Classroom and Specialist teachers to plan and implement meaningful enrichment experiences, for highlyable students.
Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experienceof gifted and talented education
Exemplary teaching practices, with proven classroom management practices
Comprehensive knowledge of current educational issues, curriculum frameworks and
National standards as they apply in an ELC-12context
Demonstrated ability to design and implement quality differentiated teaching and learning programs
Masters of Gifted Education and/or equivalent qualification in supporting highlyable students
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience related to the teaching responsibility as required by the position
Hold a current VIT Registration
