The Role
This Fixed Term (12 months) Program Analyst role will provide portfolio level analysis, co-ordinate governance, reportand work closely with the program team.
The position will be responsible for ensuring consistent, reliable, and transparent project execution, and will utilise, effectively and efficiently, Fire Rescue Victoria's ICS (Information and Communication Services) resources.
The Program Analyst will assist in production of project status reports, financial tracking and reporting on IT project spending and other project artifacts.
Functional Accountabilities:
Provide support to prepare and review project documentation for planned and in-progress IT projects led by FRV ICS including plans, reports and budgets for senior management and stakeholders
Support the Program manager and project team members to establish and maintain accurate project governance, schedules, undertake monitoring and reporting on status and manage other project files and records
Create standard project report templates and coordinate project meetings as required including preparation of agendas and minutes
Support the Program Manager in providing guidance within FRV ICS to ensure internal policies and procedures for program and project management are adhered to.
The Team
The Corporate Services Directorate provides advice, planning and support in the areas of Finance, Information Technology, Fleet, Property and Records Management.
In addition, the directorate also provides oversight of the FRV commercial arm, Fire and Equipment Services (FES).
The directorate is a key enabler for the operational and corporate units of the business to deliver on organisational objectives.

What you will need to Succeed
A minimum of a tertiary qualification, or equivalent skilled experience would be highly regarded
Certificate IV in Project Management
Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) Certified Practicing Project Participant (CPPP)
PRINCE2 Foundations
Previous demonstrated experience in a Project Management Office (PMO)
and/or as an IT Porfolio Co-ordinator
Strong financial acumen and experience, preferably working with SAP finance.
Demonstrated expertise in or knowledge of the principles and processes of project life cycle stages, methodologies and software in an IT environment is desirable
