We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work at our Mulwalafacility.
You will need to be a confident, detail-oriented individual who is solution-focused and ready to thrive in a busy setting.
Qualifications
Current Driver's licence
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Current high risk work forklift licence
Certificate in Supply Chains Operations (Warehouse Operations)advantageous.
Skills required:
Prior experience in a warehouse role.
Excellent computer literacy and MicrosoftSkills.
Excellent verbal and written communicationskills.
Proven organisational skills with the abilityto prioritise workloads effectively.
Ability to follow and drive for procedureimprovements & efficiencies.
A positive and solution driven mindset.
Strong work ethic and the willingness to helpothers and work within a team.
Personal pride in the quality of your workand strong attention to detail.
Ability to meet required deadlines.
A good understanding of thebuilding/manufacturing industry.
Experience with Datapel (desirable).
Physically fit and able to perform thephysical requirements of the role.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the day to day warehouse operations.
Managethe delivery of incoming goods, ensuring they are per order with no damageand report all short and incorrect deliveries.
Ensureall building materials are complete and delivered to the jobs in line withthe construction schedule activities or as directed by the ConstructionSupervisor to ensure job readiness.
Trackorders and ensure delivery within required timeframe.
Liaiseand negotiate with suppliers and internal team members to resolve stockordering issues.




Facilitateand maintain effective working relationships with suppliers in efforts togrow the business reputation and provide a positive representation of thebusiness.
Identifyand manage supplier risks and opportunities, including those of thesuppliers' supply chains.
Supportsourcing recommendations on behalf of the business.
Identifyand implement cost mitigation strategies.
Undertakeanalytics and compile business insight reports.
Developprocurement/purchasing procedures and policies.
Keep the facilityclean, safe, and beorganised.
Organise and deliver building materials, equipment and otherresources as required to ensure all construction activities are completed withinset timelines both onsite and at the YMH facility.
Completion of all Prep Moves to all buildings leavingthe YMH Mulwala facility in conjunction with the Construction Supervisor.
Keep all workstations clean and clear to ensurea safe working environment.
Remuneration:
Remunerationwill be based on qualifications and experience.
