W Garage Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team in Coopers Plains, Queensland.
As a full time role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are kept in optimal working condition.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
Carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance on a variety of makes and models
Test and inspect vehicle systems and components to identify and address any problems
Work collaboratively with other technicians and services advisors to meet deadlines
Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used
Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards
Communicate clearly with customers or team members about repair needs and options
What we're looking for
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive mechanic or technician, preferably in a similar workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills




Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication skills to liaise with customers and provide clear explanations of work required
A valid driver's licence and your own set of basic hand tool
