An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Accountant to join the team during a pivotal period.
This 12 month fixed-term contract offers the chance to work closely with senior finance leadership across financial reporting, budgeting and business improvement initiatives, with the possibility of extension.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while supporting strategic decision-making through quality reporting and analysis.
Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating year-end financial reporting activities and supporting statutory obligations
Performing complex reconciliations and resolving historical balance sheet discrepancies
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
Providing insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic objectives
Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards to improve financial and management reporting
Identifying opportunities to streamline finance processes, strengthen controls and improve efficiencies
Supporting finance projects and system enhancements
Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver accurate and timely financial information
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
CA or CPA qualification (or be close to completion)
Demonstrated experience within financial accounting, reporting and audit environments
Strong budgeting and forecasting experience
Advanced Excel skills and experience creating Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving capabilities
A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
The ability to quickly adapt and add value within a dynamic contract environment
