This role is ideally suited for a disciplined kitchen professional—such as a catering cook, high-volume prep cook, or an experienced production kitchen hand—who thrives on routine, structure, andexecuting established recipes to perfection.
The Role
As a Full time Gelato Maker, you will take ownership of the daily execution of our premium flavor menu.
This is a permanent, hands-on role requiring absolute precision, consistency, and a strong sense of accountability.
Your main duties will include:
End-to-End Production:Measuring, pasteurising, mixing, and churning gelato strictly according to established company recipes and technical quality standards.
Quality Control:Maintaining rigorous visual, structural, and taste consistency across all batches.
Hygiene & Safety Leadership:Upholding strict Food Safety and HACCP guidelines, ensuring deep cleaning, sanitisation, and maintenance of production machinery and pasteurisers.
Inventory & FIFO:Monitoring raw ingredients, managing stock rotation, forecasting shortages, and receiving supplier deliveries.
What We Are Looking For:
To be successful in this permanent role, you must demonstrate a reliable work ethic and meet the following strict criteria:




Commercial Kitchen Experience:Minimum 1–2 years of full-time experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen setting (e.g., pastry, baking, line cook, or production prep).
Technical Precision:Strong attention to detail with measurements, temperatures, timing, and recipe compliance.
Full Scheduling Availability:Ability to work a structured, fixed production roster.
To ensure a healthy work-life balance, you will have2 consecutive days off,offering full flexibility and stability for your personal planning.
Physical Stamina:Ability to handle the physical demands of a high-volume production kitchen, including lifting ingredients (up to *****kg) and standing for long periods.
