Airvolve Pty Ltd is seeking an experiencedHVAC Estimator / Project Manager / Sales Leadto join our team on afull-time basisin Truganina, VIC ****.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of technical estimating, project coordination, and building strong client relationships.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, managing projects from award through to completion, and acting as one of the primary point of contact for our clients and installation teams.
Key responsibilities
Review plans, and site requirements to prepare accurate and comprehensive estimates for commercial and residential HVAC projects, including labour, materials, equipment and associated costs
Develop detailed tender documents and proposals for client presentation
Lead sales development activities and manage client relationships from initial inquiry through project completion
Order materials and coordinate with teams and suppliers as required.
Negotiate commercial terms and pricing with clients and suppliers
Liaise with design teams, project managers and installation teams to ensure estimates align with technical specifications
Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to maintain competitive advantage
Prepare monthly reports on estimating activity, sales pipeline and business development outcomes
Mentor and support junior staff within the estimating and sales function
Maintain accurate documentation and project records in accordance with company procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience as an HVAC Estimator or similar role within the construction or mechanical services industry, ideally with 5+ years' experience
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, installation methods and industry standards
Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate estimates using estimating software and cost databases
Sales experience with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
Excellent technical drawing and specification interpretation skills
Proficiency with estimating software such as Plandroid and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong mathematical and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC, building services or construction are advantageous
