Mac Personnel have been partnering with some of the leading food processing facilities within Melbourne's greater metro area and are currently seeking casual maintenance fitters withfood or packaging industry experience.
The role will see you work with a leading food manufacturer performing preventative maintenance, attending breakdowns and performing critical maintenance tasks within a small, dedicated maintenance team.
The role will involve repair and maintenance of conveyors, case packers, palletisers, compressors, pump systems, valves, mixers, heat exchangers, bearings and pipework.
The successful applicant will possess:
Previous experience within food, heavy industry or similar
Knowledge and/or experience in a rapid paced, high pressure process/production environment;
Strong problem solving and communication skills;
The ability to operate autonomously and/or with minimal supervision;
