About the role
You'll manage a well-maintained portfolio of ******* properties across Glebe, Chippendale, the CBD, Darlinghurst and North Shore.
Building and maintaining genuine relationships with your landlords and tenants
Directing your support team across maintenance, routines, ingoings, outgoings and opens
Handling lease renewals, rental reviews, bond management and compliance
Managing arrears across your portfolio
Resolving disputes and complaints from both sides of the ledger
Representing us at NCAT when it comes up
Weekly updates to landlords on property performance, rental income, maintenance and tenancy matters
Weekly reports to landlords with properties currently on the market
Weekly reporting to me on how your support team is tracking

Who we're looking for
5+ years' experience as a Property Manager
Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
Confident handling conflict and holding a position with landlords, tenants and tradespeople
A portion of our landlords and tenants communicate primarily in Mandarin, so bilingual Mandarin and English is an advantage — not essential
Comfortable directing a support team and holding them to a standard
High attention to detail with a proactive approach — you'd rather prevent the problem than manage it
Open-minded about workflow changes and emerging technology
Honest, straightforward, and a genuine team player
TL;DR
You've run a portfolio before and you're positive at it.
You'd rather lead a support team than do everything yourself.
You're open to new systems and new technology, and you don't flinch when a process changes because we found a better way to do it.
Start date: late August, though I'm flexible for the right person.
