Located in the inner eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with a diverse range of clientele, our firm offers a wonderful opportunity for you to utilise your newly acquired expertise and further develop your accounting industry knowledge.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Preparation of income tax returns, business activity statements and company financial statements.
Bookkeeping, cashbooks, reconciliations, and processing Client's payroll.
Liaising with Clients and the ATO.
Other taxation and business advisory tasks, as required.
The faster your experience grows, the more opportunities you will have to work on a diverse range of tasks.
Your profile, skills and experience
As we already have a friendly, dynamic team, we are looking for the right person to join us.
You will possess the following qualities:
Highly motivated and organised, with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail.
Disciplined approach with an excellent work ethic.
Excellent language, verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Task oriented,
with an understanding of the importance of time management and deadlines.
Show initiative, with a proactive approach to delivering quality service.
Possess a willingness and enthusiasm to work in a team and further develop your accounting skills and career.
Have completed (or finishing final year of) an Australian recognised Accounting Degree.
Knowledge of MYOB & Xero are beneficial, but not essential.
