Canberra based or open to travelling to the office 2-3 days a week
About the Role
We are seeking an experiencedManager - Secondary Systems & Network Designto lead a team of engineers and technical specialists responsible for the design, development and delivery of secondary systems across transmission, distribution and renewable energy projects.
This is a leadership role for aRegistered Electrical Engineerwith strong technical expertise in secondary systems and a proven ability to manage large engineering teams and complex design programs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Secondary Systems and Network Design function.
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
Oversee the design, review and delivery of secondary systems projects.
Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Support network planning, asset management and major project delivery teams.
Drive continuous improvement, safety, quality and operational performance.
Requirements




Degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems or Communications preferred).
Registered Skilled Engineer.
10+ years' experience within transmission, distribution, renewable energy, utilities or a similar infrastructure industry.
Strong design engineering background in secondary systems.
Demonstrated leadership experience managing large office-based engineering teams.
Sound understanding of NER, NEM and AEMO requirements.
Desired Technical Experience
Strong experience in one or more of the following:
SCADA and Control Systems
Communications Systems
Protection Systems
