As the business continues to grow and scale, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Corporate based HSE Manager to provide operational and strategic leadership across multiple renewable energy projects nationally.
About the Role:
This is a highly visible leadership role bridging corporate governance with on-site operational delivery supporting continued business growth while ensuring safety remains central to project execution
This role will oversee all site-based HSE activities through a team of Project HSE Advisors, ensuring compliance across construction, commissioning and energisation works
The role attracts regular interstate travel and site engagement across active renewable energy projects
Key Responsibilities:
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE systems, governance and operational assurance nationally
Partner closely with operational leaders to strengthen safety culture, compliance and project performance
Provide strategic oversight of incident investigations, corrective actions and risk mitigation initiatives
Lead stakeholder engagement across clients, contractors, regulators and external audit bodies
Support business growth through scalable HSE processes aligned to ISO and OFSC requirements
About you:
You are a strategic safety leader who thrives in dynamic, high-risk project environments and enjoys balancing corporate governance with site engagement.
You will ideally bring:
Diploma or Higher qualification in HSE(minimum requirement)
At least 5-8 years experience leading HSE in eitherconstruction, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure projects, utilities, or heavy industryis essential.
Experience in a Corporate HSE role is highly desirable.
Strong understanding ofISO systems and FSC requirements
Proven track record in influencing, mentoring operational teams and senior stakeholders to drive a positive safety culture
Strong incident investigation, auditing and operational risk management capability
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
