Your current role
The Place Leader – Vic Park Planning is a strategic planner who leads the Town's strategic planning program, the Vic Park Planning Program,



and champions place-based outcomes for the Bentley/Curtin precinct.
The role provides expert planning advice, drives the development of key planning strategies and policies, and coordinates cross-functional initiatives to support sustainable growth and thriving communities.
Key responsibilities
Lead the Vic Park Planning Program and the Town's strategic planning initiatives.
Provide expert advice on land use planning, planning policy and planning reform.
Develop, review and implement strategic planning frameworks, policies and projects.
Coordinate cross-functional programs, priorities and stakeholder engagement.
Manage planning projects, consultants and relationships with government agencies.
Champion place-based outcomes for Bentley/Curtin through collaboration and community engagement.
Lead the implementation and review of Place Plans and cross-directorate initiatives.
Represent the Town in engagement with Council, community, business and regional partners.

demonstrated ability to manage projects
previous demonstrated strategic town planning experience at a senior level
relevant tertiary qualification/s required

salary range of $114,340 - $121,542
