The Amazing Grace is seeking a talented and enthusiasticBreakfast Chefto join our team on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with the chance for more shifts if required.

As a Breakfast Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality breakfast dishes, managing kitchen operations during morning service, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes including eggs, pancakes and other morning specialities to meet menu specifications and customer expectations
Manage breakfast station equipment and ensure all cooking areas are clean, organised and well-stocked throughout service
Monitor food quality and consistency, ensuring all dishes meet The Amazing Grace's high standards before they leave the kitchen
Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols, maintaining a clean and safe working workplace at all times
Work collaboratively with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and address any customer requirements or dietary needs
Prepare ingredients and perform mise en place duties to ensure efficient morning service
Adapt to varying customer volumes and adjust production accordingly during peak and quieter periods
What we're looking for
Proven experienceworking as a Breakfast Chef or Cook in a hospitality establishment, demonstrating competency in breakfast preparation
Strong knowledge of breakfast cuisine and the ability to execute classic and contemporary breakfast dishes to a high standard




Current Food Safety Supervisor certification or equivalent qualification relevant to Australian food handling standards
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently during peak service periods
Proficiency in using commercial kitchen equipment and cooking techniques
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food presentation and plating standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced workplace
Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
Flexibility to work casual shifts, including early morning starts
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer experiences through quality food
