A global industrial solutions business is seeking a commercially driven Business Development & Branch Manager to lead its Brisbane operation.
This role combines hands-on business development with responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the branch.
You will grow key accounts, open new doors across Queensland and provide practical leadership to a small team spanning sales, customer service, projects and field operations.
You may already be an experienced Branch Manager, or you could be a successful BDM with some people-management experience who is ready to take the next step.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to move beyond an individual sales role and take ownership of both sales performance and the broader branch.
What you'll do:
Generate new business across Queensland
Develop relationships with major industrial customers
Take ownership of key accounts and support a structured customer handover
Lead technical and commercial discussions around extraction and filtration solutions
Prepare initial concepts and high-level quotations with support from engineering
Coach and support an existing junior salesperson
Coordinate branch priorities and keep the local team aligned
Oversee service and project activity at a general management level
Maintain team morale, accountability and customer responsiveness
Help embed stronger systems, reporting and operational processes




Act as the senior local representative and key link with interstate leadership
About you:
Strong business development or technical sales experience
A track record of winning new customers and growing key accounts
Some experience leading, coaching or supervising others
The confidence to engage senior stakeholders and complex industrial customers
Enough technical aptitude to understand customer challenges and discuss practical solutions
A hands-on, commercially focused leadership style
The ability to operate independently and make sound decisions
Solid communication, organisation and relationship-management skills
This role could suit:An experienced Branch Manager from a technical or industrial business
A Senior BDM ready to step into broader people and operational leadership
A technical sales professional who has informally led others and is ready for a formal management role
Relevant industry experience:
Experience in industrial extraction and filtration would be highly regarded, particularly across:
Dust collection
Industrial air filtration
Candidates from adjacent technical sectors will also be considered, including welding equipment, industrial fans, process equipment, environmental technology, mining services, manufacturing, engineering sales or defence supply.
