Workthat matters
This critical position will lead and manage the case management and investigation function ensuring complex and sensitive matters are managed end-to-end in a timely, trauma informed, and procedurally fair manner aligned to Adelaide University policies, legislative requirements, Enterprise Agreement and governance frameworks.
The Senior Manager, Investigation and Case Management will also ensure compliance with the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender based Violence, oversee the intake and assessment of incoming complaints and support a small team of complaints advisors and specialist investigators to undertake end-to-end case management including in accordance with misconduct procedures and disciplinary processes.
The team
Integrity (soon to be renamed to Safer Community) is a centralised unit where individuals, including staff and students, can raise complaints or disclosures about conduct concerns, including Gender-based Violence and sexual harm and racism, in a safe, confidential and supportive environment.

Experience

Experience leading a team managing complex and sensitive complaint or investigation matters including workplace investigations.
Proven ability to apply governance frameworks, legislation and procedural fairness in decision making
Experience delivering high quality investigations or case management outcomes in regulated environments
Proven ability to provide expert advice and mentoring in case management and investigation practices
Proven ability to engage influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across organisational functions
