We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our Medical Clinic.
This role requires flexibility with rostering, strong billing accuracy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting and acknowledging patients promptly and warmly
Managing appointment bookings, recalls and waitlists
Accurate data entry and maintenance of patient records
Processing Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and private billings
Explaining fees, rebates and gap payments clearly
Managing phone and online enquiries professionally
Scanning, correspondence allocation and general administrative tasks




Maintaining a clean, organised and professional reception area
About You
Previous medical reception experience (essential)
Best Practice PMS experience highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a calm, friendly manner
Some understanding of Medicare and billing processes
High attention to detail (low error rate in billing/data entry)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, accountable and flexible with shifts (including evenings/Saturdays)
