Tony Cook Building Designis seeking an experienced and dedicated Building Designer/Revit Drafter to join our professional team on a full-time basis, creating detailed technical drawings and models for residential properties.
Duties & responsibilities:
Provide preliminary designs and working drawings for residential project homes, one-off designs, renovations, duplexes, and multi-residence dwellings
Attend job consultations and meetings with clients and builders
Oversee the completion of documentation and timely submissions of Residential Building Approvals
Liaise with the councils and other relevant authorities
Check over your own work for accuracy
Experience & attributes:
Minimum of 10 years' experience working with ANZ building standards and codes (BCA)
Over 10 years' experience and knowledge of Revit
Sound structural knowledge and design ability
Full Australian working rights & residence
Proactive and confident approach to work
Ability to show initiative and ensure work is completed to requisite standards
