As Australia's financial intelligence unit and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulator, AUSTRAC plays a critical role in detecting, deterring and disrupting criminal activity that threatens our economy, national security and community.
Position
As anAPS2 Support Officer, Regulation, you will play an important role in supporting AUSTRAC's Regulation Division through a range of administrative, research and operational support activities.
Working closely with team members, you will provide one-on-one assistance, retrieve and summarise information from internal systems, support meetings through note-taking, and help maintain accurate records and documentation.
You may also assist with on-site compliance assessments and contribute to the smooth operation of regulatory activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting others, is highly organised, and takes pride in delivering quality administrative assistance in a cooperative and inclusive environment.
This position is based inMelbourne, workingpart-time (3 days per week)under a hybrid arrangement, with a combination of office and work-from-home days.
Key duties include
Accessing, retrieving and summarising information from internal databases and systems.
Providing administrative and one-on-one support to colleagues across the division.
Taking accurate notes during internal and external meetings.
Maintaining records and filing documentation to support team activities.
Assisting with administrative tasks associated with compliance assessments, including occasional travel.
Supporting the coordination and organisation of work to help achieve business outcomes.
Contributing to a positive, inclusive and collaborative team environment.

Eligibility
Must be an Australian citizen at the time you apply.
Will need to undertake AUSTRAC's pre-engagement checks.Will need to obtain and maintain an ongoingBaseline Security Clearance.
Employment arrangements
Part-time:3 days per week.
Location:Melbourne-based with a hybrid working arrangement.
Ongoing and Non-ongoing:Please note, this position is currently being offered as non-ongoing; however, there may be an opportunity for ongoing employment in the future.
