MAYDAY Recruitmentis currently partnering with a well-established specialist medical practice inSydney CBDto recruit an experiencedCasual Medical Receptionistto join their friendly and professional team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous medical reception experience who enjoys working in a patient-focused environment.
You'll be providing front-of-house support2–3 days per week, covering planned leave and assisting during busy periods.
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for patients, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
This is a fast-paced position where exceptional customer service, organisation, and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional front-of-house experience
Managing appointments and patient bookings usingBest Practice
Answering and directing incoming phone calls and responding to email enquiries
Processing patient payments, Medicare claims, and EFTPOS transactions
Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality at all times
Coordinating with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
General administrative duties, including scanning, filing,



and managing correspondence
Supporting the wider practice team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working as aMedical Receptionistor withinMedical Administration
Essential:Experience usingBest Practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
High level of professionalism and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
