We are looking for atalented Architectural CAD Draftsperson / Designer with lighting experienceto join our team.
THE ROLE
High level of ability to effectively manage workloads and timelines of projects.
Documentation/ designs at all project stages under the supervision of Senior Designer.
Preparation of concept presentations in Indesign/Photoshop.
Undertaking lighting calculations in Dialux/Agi32 and lighting reports to demonstrate compliance with Australian Standards.
Preparation of AutoCAD and REVIT drawings and lighting specifications.
Issuing documentation in Aconex, Procore and similar platforms.
Checking documentation prior to issuing.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Minimum 3 year experience in a similar role,
Ability to thrive in a creative fast changing design-led work environment.
Robust eye for detailing and implementation of ideas.
Efficient, autonomous and ability to manage time and tasks effectively and within deadlines.
High level of proficiency in AutoCAD - essential.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite - essential.
Proficiency in Dialux/Agi32 - essential.
Experience with REVIT and SketchUp – desired.
Understanding of technical lighting terms.
Ability to design architectural and joinery lighting details.
Ability to communicate effectively and actively participate in projects with minimum supervision.
Ability to simultaneously work on numerous of projects and tasks.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
Design background qualification in Architecture, Design, Industrial design or similar.
Demonstration of project and time management.
SALARY
Dependent on experience.
